Looking Forward to the Future!!

We're so excited about the future!! We'll be getting out of some debt and focusing on adoption in 2013!! We can't wait to see what God is going to do!! :)

Matt's New Job

Matt started on the 12th of Feburary and He loves his Job!! I'm so glad that God has given him a job that he can use his gifts and talents!!! Matt works around the same hours I do and we actually have the evenings also weekends to spend time together which we're thrilled about!! He'll have occasional on-call weekends...which won't be too bad. He'll actually get over time for those on-call times that he has to go into to do work!! :)

God is always Faithful!!

We are so excited because Matt did get the job at the Apartment Complex as a Maintenance Assistant!! He passed the background check and we knew that he would! He took the drug test today and We know that he'll pass that one too! It looks like Monday will be his first day!! Since He's starting this new job on Monday, It will be our Valentine's Day Present this year!! We decided that we'll celebrate once we know what his income will be!! :)

Update on Matt's Job Hunt

Matt has just accepted a job working as a Assistant Maintenance Tech for an Apartment Property Management Company!! He hopes to sign the new hiring paperwork today or tomorrow. The Apartment complex manager hopes to have him start work on Monday if the background check and drug test come back clear. Matt doesn't have anything on his record and he definitely doesn't do drugs so that shouldn't be a problem!! We are so excited because he'll be able to do a job that he loves!! He'll be able to use his tools and learn some new things!! We are thanking God for bringing this perfect job into our lives!!

Update on Diana Jane

We decided to definitely adopt her... so that means we're keeping her for sure!! Around January 27th, I took her to the vet for her to get her shots and they told me that she is 6 months old. She did really well with getting all of her shots for that visit!! While during that visit, They put her on the list for Spay and declaw for April 22nd...which such a long time away from now...but she hasn't torn up anything yet... You know the minute you say something like that...it happens...but hasn't yet.
She'll go for her next shots on the 20th of this month!! :) I'm so glad she's in our household!! Simon Peter loves her and they play really well together!! Allie on the other hand is glad that Simon has a friend to play with...but she isn't to thrilled about Diana...although just tolerates her.
