Should We Add This New Cat to Our Furbabies?

Matt found her the night of November 6th outside...when it was just starting getting into some really cold weather... actually below freezing. We felt bad for her because it was and still is cold here. We can tell she has been someone's pet because she purrs (Which sounds like my childhood cat Daniel--died March of 2007) when being held, knows how to use the litter box, and loves cat food!! We love her...but Matt wants to make sure she's not a neighbors cat...so we'll be putting out a sign for her and if no one claims her in a few days... we'll be keeping her!! We've named her Diamond for now...but because it sounds so close to Simon... She'll be named Diana!!

God is so Faithful to us!

This week my small group ladies from church are going to get together at the resturant called The Cheesecake Factory. I had orginally told them that I couldn't go because I didn't have the money to attend because of us working hard to get out of debt. I had been praying that if God really wanted me to go he'd make a way for me to go... I really wanted to go spend time with my girlfriends from church!! The girls have put their extra money together so I can go!! I'm so excited and Thankful that God provides for us even when we don't expect it!!

Enjoying Starting a New Year!!

We started off the new year with some friends of ours and their children which was really fun. Our Cats Simon Peter and Allie were terrified of the children...Which is to be expected with them being used to only Matt and I in the house. Once our company left, Matt and I actually enjoyed the quietness of our home. We spent some time just hanging out in front of the TV and talking which was very fun! As I said in my last post, We are working on our new year resolutions already. We have already started a goal to be adopting in 2013 which is why we are working so hard to get out of debt! I can't believe that it's only 3 years away... It seems like these years will go by fast for sure... Just like 2009 went by way too fast!!! We are already praying for our future children and their birth families. We are still waiting to know if Matt got hired or not from the job position that he had interviewed for. We are also praying for him to get the job that God has for him. I can't wait to look back over this year and see the changes that will happen over the course of 2010!! I think this year will be eventful for sure!!
