Well... Matt and I decided shortly after Christmas that we were going to actually host a new year's eve party for all of our friends here in Texas. We sent out the evite's to those invited and one by one people replied that they either had other plans or were already attending another party. So I cancelled the event thinking that Matt and I would just have a quiet New Year's Eve and un-decorate our house of the Christmas decorations...but to my surprise some friends of ours actually called and said that they were going to come down from Irving to spend New Year's with us! I'm not even the slightest bit sad that 2009 is almost over...but really looking forward to 2010!!
Goals For 2010:
1) Matt to get a job!!
2) Working on Paying off debt
3) Both of us actually loosing weight before summer
So far that is my list... but I'm sure I'll be adding more to that soon.
Have New Year!! Enjoy 2010!!
We have been married for 7 years!! Enjoy this blog as you follow us along our journey to become parents someday!!

Need God's Direction
Matt and I moved back to the Dallas, Texas area from Phoenix, AZ in October...due to my Sister offering me a job in her office.... I jumped at the opportunity to have a job since not having one for the last year or two years. The move was not timed at the greatest time...but it was definitely God's timing. It has been great being back near my family and I adore both of my local nieces whom I spend a lot of time with!! It has been hard to deal with Matt and I not having any children of our own lately... but we know that God has the perfect child waiting just for us someday...if he finally decides to bless us with our own biological child or if the blessing comes in the form of an adoption of a child. We will be thrilled when we have the blessing of a child in our home...but for now we have to wait on God's timing and not ours which is so hard to do. I'm not sure if this is all in light of the Christmas Holiday Festivities that is upon us now...but I know God has the best intentions for us even when we don't see them ourselves. We are also looking for God's direction as we need Matt to get a job...He has a job interview with Pepsi Bottling Group today...We're in prayer that he gets the job!! Once we know the outcome of the job interview...I'll post an update!!
